FAQs

WHAT MAKES RED ROCK CANDLE CO.'S PRODUCTS DIFFERENT?

HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY PRODUCTS?

WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE IN YOUR PRODUCTS?

All of our candles and wax melts are made with blended wax that consists of mainly soy + food grade paraffin. This is the same kind of paraffin wax that is used in cosmetics, candy and on food in grocery stores (such as apples).

In addition to the soy blend wax, we use high quality fragrance oils that are International Fragrance Association compliant. Most of which are free from carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other potentially hazardous chemicals often found in fragrance oil.

Our candles include wicks that are lead-free, cotton-braided wicks.

Candles: Before lighting, we recommend trimming the wick to 1/4" using scissors or wick trimmers for a clean and safe burn.

To increase the candles lifespan, be sure to allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar on the first burn.

Don't burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time and never leave a lit candle unattended.

Do not blow out your candle, extinguish the candle by dipping the wick into the wax. This prevents an overabundance of smoke.

We recommend not to proceed with burning if only 1/4"-1/2" of wax remains. Lighting a candle without enough wax can overheat the jar.

Melts: Only use in warmers approved for wax melts, do not add water, do not leave unattended and discontinue use if dish contains less than 1/2" of wax.

CAN THE CONTAINERS BE RECYCLED?

Of course! And we highly recommend it. There are two methods to cleaning out your candle jar;

In the oven:
Set your candle jar in the oven at its lowest setting until any remaining wax melts. Carefully remove the jar from the oven to pour the remaining wax into the trash.

In the freezer:

Place your candle jar in the freezer overnight. The next day you can take the jar out of the freezer and flip it upside down, the remaining wax should pop right out as it has shrunk! If it doesn’t, you can use a spoon to press down on one edge of the wax to lift and remove it.

Once the jar is free from any remaining wax, you can pop out the wick holder using a spoon or fork and proceed with washing + drying!

For melts: Please recycle packaging once empty.
